  1. What's my goal? Do I want less housework, a clear space or a more organized area? A clear goal can make decision-making easier.

  2. What small area can I start with? If we tackle too large of a project, we can get discouraged. Start with a drawer or small area to get momentum.

  3. Can I ask someone else about this? Get input from loved ones. This can help clarify if something should be kept or passed on.

  4. What are my current priorities? This key question can really help us see if something no longer serves us or brings us joy.

  5. Can this go in the "maybe" box? If you’re unsure about an item, put it in a “maybe” box and revisit it in a few months. If you haven’t missed it or thought about it, you might be ready to part with it.

  6. How can I remember this? For items that hold sentimental value but aren’t practical to keep, consider creating a scrapbook or digital photo book. This way, you preserve the memory without holding onto the physical object.
